My super sweet Vietnamese neighbor, Long, (yup, that's his real name) gave me cuttings from his Curry tree today.  All the info I saw out there says that cutting propagation is quite difficult but I'll give it a whirl anyhow.

The leaves are used like one would use any other herb or leafy spice.  I've never tried it myself but I do know that this is not at all like the curry we know from Indian and Pakistani cooking.  That kind of curry is a mix of spices that vary depending on the region.

This curry leaf is very versatile and I just can't wait to taste it.  I'll let you know how it goes.
